Brown sinks a pair of hole-in-ones in less than one month

Monday, June 8, 2020

Sinking a hole-in-one is a lifetime achievement.

According to many statisticians out there, the odds of doing so on any given day are 12,500 to 1.

So, the odds of making a pair of them, on two separate holes, in less than one month’s time would have to be astronomically high that it’s nearly impossible to happen, right?

Well, Russell Brown could say otherwise.

On May 11, while playing alongside Harry Mayle Jr. and Rob Jones, Brown drained a hole-in-one on the second hole – Par 3, 123 yards – at Forest Park.

He came back on June 2, this time playing with Wayne Loughmiller and Dean Cook, and did it again.

Brown sunk his second hole-in-one in 24 days on the fifth hole – Park 3, 153 yards – at Forest Park.

The Brazil Times would like to congratulate Russell Brown on defying the odds and putting together two of the most jaw-dropping rounds of 2020.
