Exposure to COVD-19 temporarily closes Clay Youth League

On Wednesday night, the Clay Youth League issued the following statement regarding the possible exposure of COVID-19 at the organization's facilities:

"As a precaution due to a potential Covid-19 exposure we are closing the ball park and facility. All CYL activities are suspended until July 20, 2020. Updates will be provided as received."

This is exactly what we should expect, in repetition, when school reopens in August. It is absolutely foolish to assume our children will be safe from Covid-19 in that environment, regardless of the steps they are taking to placate parents.
