Exposure to COVD-19 temporarily closes Clay Youth League

On Wednesday night, the Clay Youth League issued the following statement regarding the possible exposure of COVID-19 at the organization's facilities:

"As a precaution due to a potential Covid-19 exposure we are closing the ball park and facility. All CYL activities are suspended until July 20, 2020. Updates will be provided as received."

  • This is exactly what we should expect, in repetition, when school reopens in August. It is absolutely foolish to assume our children will be safe from Covid-19 in that environment, regardless of the steps they are taking to placate parents.
