Northview announces fall sports will be capped at 250 fans

Tuesday, August 11, 2020

In conjunction with the IHSAA, the Governor's office and the Clay County Health Department, Northview issued the following statement regarding fans attending fall sporting events, including Saturday's football scrimmage against Terre Haute South:

"Due to Governor Holcomb’s mandate to remain on level 4.5 of the State’s reentry plan and working with the Clay County Health Department to create the safest possible athletic contests for our student athletes; all Northview sporting events will be capped at 250 people until further notice. This total number will include all players, coaches, workers and fans at the event. Saturday’s football scrimmage with Terre Haute South will include a limited number of guests per Northview athlete; therefore, gates will not be open for the general public. Instructions will be sent to the parents using Final Forms email to attend Saturday’s scrimmage. Unfortunately, with our max allowance of spectators at the event, we will not be able to have any visiting spectators from Terre Haute South. We are working out details to live stream our events, information will be released at a later date. Thank you for your understanding during these very difficult times."
