Brazil Mayor Brian Wyndham talks with the participants in the ninth annual Mayor's Ride in support of the Clay County Human Society Saturday afternoon. Registration started at City Hall at 2 p.m., and kickstands went up at 3 p.m. Participants received a T-shirt, and there was food, and live entertainment afterward at American Legion Post #2.

Orders for commemorative shirts are still being taken through Tuesday at City Hall. Event organizers confirmed they are ordering more.

Anyone interested in purchasing a T-shirt from the 2020 Mayor’s Ride fundraiser for $20 each, please call 812-443-2221 or stop by City Hall during regular business hours as soon as possible.

All proceeds from the fundraiser support the local animal shelter.
