Boys basketball sectional pairings set
On Sunday evening, the IHSAA announced the boys high school basketball sectional pairings.
Each of Clay City’s and Northview’s teams patiently waited to hear their names called to see who they’d be playing and what day and time the game would be.
Clay City will play Bloomfield in the second game of the Class A Clay City Sectional opening round Wednesday night, while Northview will play West Vigo in the first game of the Class 3A Owen Valley Sectional opening round Wednesday night.
Below are the draws for each sectional:
Class A Clay City Sectional
G1: White River Valley vs. Bloomington Lighthouse, Tues.
G2: Eminence vs. North Central, Wed.
G3: Clay City vs. Bloomfield, Wed.
G4: Shakamak vs winner of G1, Fri.
G5: winner of G2 vs. winner of G3, Fri.
Championship: winner of G4 vs winner of G5, Sat.
Class 3A Owen Valley Sectional
G1: Brown County vs. Edgewood, Tues.
G2: West Vigo vs. Northview, Wed.
G3: Owen Valley vs. Brownstown Central, Wed.
