BREAKING: 1 patient airlifted to hospital after accident

First responders used the soccer field at North Clay Middle School after a lawnmower accident Friday afternoon.

Details about the accident are not available at this time, but the unidentified person involved was flown to an Indianapolis hospital for medical treatment by Air-Evac shortly before 2 p.m.

Local officials contacted the school to use the property during the emergency, and Superintendent Jeff Fritz confirmed the administration was happy to assist. No students or staff members were involved in the incident.
