BOIL ORDER ISSUED for Center Point Water Department customers

Center Point Water Department has issued a BOIL ORDER in effect for its customers on Saturday, July 3.

Officials confirmed a break in the main water line, and it was repaired, but customers will need to boil their water until the test samples come back from the state. Due to the holiday, the test samples will not be taken until Tuesday morning, and the testing process requires up to 48 hours to be completed.

This boil order only affects Center Point customers.

Water customers in Harmony, Knightsville, and Brazil are not affected.
