Clay City’s softball team named Grand Marshals for Clay City Fair parade

The Clay City Fair Association is proud to announce that the 2021 Clay City Parade Grand Marshals will be the CCHS Girls Softball Team.

With an extraordinary softball season, the community is so proud of these girls and their amazing Runner-Up State Champion title.

The CCFA would like to “Keep the train rollin” with our enthusiasm for their success by highlighting the team and giving everyone an opportunity to meet them.

These young ladies have brought excitement and spirit to our little town and it is time for us to give back.

After the parade on Wednesday, July 7, please plan to join us at Goshorn Park for a fun “Hometown Heroes Meet-n-Greet.”

Look for the purple tent. There will be so much going on: player autographs, trophies on display, photo ops, and a dunking booth! All for free!

We hope the community makes an effort to come out and tell the team how very proud we are of them.
