BREAKING - National Weather Service issues Flood Warning until Sunday morning

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...Illinois...

Flood Warning for the Eel River at Bowling Green.

* From late tonight to late Sunday morning.

* At 10:30 AM EDT Friday the stage was 6.9 feet.

* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* Minor flooding is forecast.

* Forecast...The river is expected to rise above the flood stage just after midnight tonight to a crest of 17.2 feet tomorrow morning.

It will then fall below the flood stage late tomorrow evening.

* Impact...At 17.0 feet, Floodwater covers considerable bottomlands and floods a few county roads including the Poland-Bowling Green Road.

Driftwood River near Edinburgh 2 SW affecting Bartholomew, Johnson, and Shelby Counties.

Big Blue River at Shelbyville affecting Shelby County.

Flatrock River near Columbus affecting Bartholomew County.

Parts of the East Fork White River, Wabash River and White River.

Recent heavy rain over central Indiana along with additional heavy rain this weekend will produce minor to moderate flooding along portions of area rivers this weekend and into next week.
