West Vigo-Northview football game cancelled

On Wednesday afternoon, Northview's athletic department announced on Twitter that Friday's home high school football game against visiting West Vigo had been cancelled with the following statement:

“We are currently looking for an opponent to play on Friday… We will update as soon as possible…”

A little while later, West Vigo explained what happened, while also confirming the game against the Knights would not take place, with a tweet of its own:

"Although we only have one COVID positive player, we are concerned with being able to play Friday's game with our available players. To give Northview a chance to potentially find a game, West Vigo will NOT be playing Friday night at Northview."

Northview is still in search of a possible replacement. This will be updated when/if the Knights are able to find an opponent to play Friday night.
