The COVID-19 Data provided by Clay Community Schools shows a decline.

Coordinator of Health Services for Clay Community Schools Lynn Stoelting, BSN RN, provides data to the Indiana State Department of Health and The Brazil Times.

(See the chart supplied by CCSC Thursday for more data.)

CCSC uses the ADVISORY LEVEL, referring to current COVID-19 guidelines all Indiana counties must follow. Clay County remains in RED with a 17.5% Unique Positive 7-day rate (a drop of 13.5% from last week) as of Thursday, September 30, 2021.

Centers For Disease Control and Prevention recommended vaccinations for children age 12 and up in August.

According to the ISDH, 8.5% of children age 12-19 have been fully vaccinated as of Thursday.

In Clay County, 6.1% of children in that age group have received vaccinations.

FALL BREAK COMING

Stoelting confirmed the data would not be available the week of October 11-15 during Fall Break.

The corporation’s COVID-19 data will be provided again starting on October 21.
