COVID-19 UPDATE: County stays at ‘orange’ level

At noon Monday, October 25, the Indiana Department of Health’s COVID-19 Dashboard (www.coronavirus.in.gov) showed Clay County trending downward on all the data maps, including:

ORANGE - Weekly 2-Metric Score

ORANGE - 7-Day All Tests Positivity Rate

ORANGE - Weekly Cases Per 100,000 Residents

RED - Advisory Level

The ISDH reports that 3,355,865 Hoosiers are fully vaccinated, with 6,787 new residents fully vaccinated as of October 25, 2021. those vaccinated, include 53.5% being female, 46% male and .5% gender not identified.

Clay County reports a total of 10,602 citizens fully vaccinated, 21 newly vaccinated.

Those who have taken the Booster Dose Series total 284,477 residents in Indiana.

In Clay County, 85 residents recently received the Booster Dose, bringing the overall total to 595.
