Brazil leaf pickup scheduled to start Monday, if leaves start to fall

Mother Nature can be quite fickle in the fall.

It’s good weather one day, and rain for seven days the next.

Same with the leaves on the trees, one day they are there, and the next, they clutter the ground and roadways.

The Brazil City Garage removes leaves from residents each year, and the 2021 schedule is already set to begin.

The quadrants are divided by U.S. 40 and State Road 59, including:

South West Quadrant: Nov. 1-5

South East Quadrant: Nov. 8-12

North East Quadrant: Nov. 15-19

North West Quadrant: Nov. 29-Dec. 1

Leaf Piles Only - Nov. 22-24

While the schedule is set, it looks like the leaves are not ready to fall yet.

“We take it day by day,” said one official at the City Garage.

The schedule depends upon the weather, so the information will be announced as soon as possible if any changes are necessary.
