CONGRATULATIONS!!! Blankenship saluted for safety action

Recently, welder and Area Safety Rep Kelvin Blankenship sprang into action when a fellow employee experienced a medical emergency.

Kelvin was the first to respond and started administering CPR immediately until other ASR members and health services arrived.

When paramedics reached the scene, they commended the efforts of all who responded and specifically singled out Kelvin and his quick efforts in appraising the situation and beginning CPR.

For his selfless and quick actions, Kelvin has been awarded the Great Dane Spot Award.

“This impressive distinction is bestowed upon individuals who have gone above and beyond their assigned duties and whose actions have significantly impacted those around them,” Great Dane announced in a social media post.

“We want to congratulate Kelvin on being recognized as a Great Dane Spot Award recipient and thank him for his selfless actions to assist his fellow employee,” the post concluded.
