We are a Marine Toys for Tots dropoff location

Please bring any new, unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less-fortunate children at Christmas.

Our office is located at 531 E. National Ave. in Brazil (just east of Walgreen Drugs). Office hours are from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday (except for holiday changes noted below).

Help us to send a message of hope to America's less fortunate children.

Here are the changes to Friday editions on our holiday printing schedule over the rest of the year:

Thanksgiving week

Friday edition published: Wednesday, Nov. 24

Obituary deadline: 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 23

Office hours: Closes at end of day on Wednesday, Nov. 24; Reopens at 8 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 29

Christmas week

Friday edition published: Thursday, Dec. 23

Obituary deadline: 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 22

Office hours: Closed on Friday, Dec. 24

New Year's Eve week

Friday edition published: Thursday, Dec. 30

Obituary deadline: 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 29

Office hours: Closed on Friday, Dec. 31

As always, obituaries between publication dates will be posted on our website and Facebook page and will be in the next printed newspaper.
