UPDATE: Winter weather alters girls basketball sectional schedules

Due to the winter storm that's swept across Clay County and the surrounding areas of the state, Clay City and Northview announced updated alterations to the school's girls basketball sectional schedules Thursday afternoon.

The new changes are listed below:

Class A Clay City Sectional

Saturday 2/5/22

3 p.m. Game 2: North Central vs Lighthouse Christian

(Upon completion of game and floor is cleared there will be a 20-minute warm up session before the start of the next game.)

4:30 p.m. Game 3: White River Valley vs Eminence

Monday 2/7/22

6 p.m. Game 4: Bloomfield vs Clay City

(Upon completion of game and floor is cleared there will be a 20-minute warm up session before the start of the next game.)

7:30 p.m. Game 5: Winner Game 2 vs Winner Game 3

Tuesday 2/8/22

7 p.m. Game 6: Winner Game 4 vs Winner Game 5

Class 3A Northview Sectional

Saturday, February 5

Game 2: 3 p.m. – Brown County vs Northview

Game 3: 4:30 p.m. – Edgewood vs South Vermillion

Monday, February 7

Game 4: 6 p.m. – West Vigo vs Brownstown Central

Game 5: 7:30 p.m. – Winner Game 2 vs Winner Game 3
