Goshen qualifies for Indiana State Men’s Amateur Tournament

On Thursday morning, former Northview standout Benjamin Goshen, who is a member of the Marian University men’s golf team, accomplished a goal he’s had for a long time.

Playing at the Country Club of Terre Haute, Goshen carded a 72, tying Ryan Harmon for second place, to qualify for the Indiana State Amateur Tournament held at Pete Dye Course in French Lick on June 20-22.

Fourteen golfers participated in Thursday’s qualifier on the south side of Terre Haute with only five advancing onto the end of June tournament.

Goshen birdied six holes while finishing two shots over par on the front nine and two shots under par on the back nine to finish even for the day.
