Rotary $10K Winner plans to help daughter’s college fund

The last thing to do at the 87th Brazil Rotary Club’s 4th of July Festival in Forest Park is to draw the winning ticket for $10,000. It was also the last thing on Corey Lookebill’s (left) mind that he would own that ticket.

Brazil resident Lookebill admits he was shocked, but the next thing he thought of was paying his daughter’s college tuition to become a teacher.

“That will help out,” Lookebill said about winning. “We helped a couple of recent college graduates that we know in the Wabash Valley set up their classrooms this fall.”

The Lookebill family has plans for a summer vacation in a few weeks, where Corey said they might spend a bit of the prize-winnings a little bit frivolously.
