Clay City's new Assistant Principal familiar face

The Clay Community School Board of Trustees met in a special session Monday to prepare for the first day of school, Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

The board members made quick work of the meeting, tying up loose ends in the technical and policy revisions, announcing new employees at the various schools, and approving the donation of a touch wall board by Riddell National Bank to Northview High School.

The board also announced the new Clay City Junior/Senior High School Assistant Principal/Athletic Director - Rachel Kiefer.

Kiefer once worked for Clay Community Schools but left to gain more experience and training.

Kiefer said she was excited to return to Clay City.

“It has a special place in my heart,” she said. “I am so happy to take the experience I learned and bring it back here.”
