Side By Side crash in Clay City injures 3 Friday
Three juveniles sustained non-life threatening injuries in an ATV accident in Clay City Friday afternoon.
Around 12:27 p.m., the accident occurred near the Fair and 9th streets intersection when a 2019 Polaris Randon driver attempted to turn too fast and rolled the vehicle, landing upside down on a guardrail.
The driver, who was 14, admitted their parents did not know the juveniles were using the ATV.
The juveniles sustained minor injuries. One was taken to Terre Haute Regional Hospital for further medical treatment, while the other two were released to their families at the scene. The ATV, which sustained approximately $1,001-$2,500 in damage, was collected by Poor Boys Towing and transported to a Clay City residence.
