Details are limited about the Thursday accident at Depot and US 40/National Avenue in Brazil.

According to officials, the Brazil Police and Fire departments, along with STAR Ambulance responded to the scene shortly before 1 p.m.

Times Co-Editor Ivy Jacobs was at the scene of an SUV-motorcycle accident at US 40 and Depot streets shortly before 1 p.m. Thursday.

An SUV and motorcycle collided. Traffic was rerouted at the intersection while first responders and equipment worked the scene.

Officials confirmed that a male was transported to St. Vincent Hospital, where AirEvac Ambulance took him to an Indianapolis Hospital for further treatment.
