Benwood Mt. Lebanon

Benwood Mt. Lebanon Church, 945 E. Co. Rd. 1200 N, Brazil. Sunday school starts at 9:30 a.m. The Church Service begins at 10:30 a.m. Please come and join us in fellowship and worship. The verse today is from the book of Mark 2. Jesus is invited by Levi to dinner with His disciples, debt collectors and other disreputable sinners. There were many of this kind as Jesus’ followers. When the religious leaders saw him eating with sinners they asked the disciples, “Why does He eat with those sinners”. Just as Jesus did, He wants us to involve ourselves with all kinds of different people. We are to show them by our actions what being a Christian really means. We don’t have to agree with all the people we associate with, we can keep our honesty and integrity by showing them that we will still stand up for our Christian ways and believe the way we believe. The difference is we can share with those around us our story on how we came to know Jesus and how He has changed our lives. Your story can make a difference in someone else’s life and draw them closer to Jesus. Just remember, people are looking for something or someone to follow. You can lead them to Jesus.

Berea Christian Church

Sunday, September 4th 2022 @ 10:00 a.m.

Luke 12:54-59, Luke 13:22-30, and Luke 17:20-37

Be Ready…

This week we will continue our study of the Gospel of Luke. Specifically, the passages in Luke where Jesus addresses His second coming. In Luke 12, Jesus challenges the ability of those listening to interpret the times. In Luke 13, Jesus is asked if only a few people will be saved. As a part of His response, He shares with them how difficult it is to enter through the narrow door. He finishes in Luke 17 with a little preview of what will happen when He returns. These incredible teachings should challenge each of us to Be Ready for His second coming. Please join us this week as we study they together.

You can join us this Sunday at 10:00 a.m. @ Berea or, If you cannot attend in person, then please join us live online. If you join us online, please let us know your there.

Many thanks to singer/songwriter Rob Piatt for bringing us together on Friday night, August 12th. Listening to Rob’s music is truly enjoyable and also inspiring. We look forward to Rob returning for another performance at the Little Historic Church in November!
