Thousands attend Route 40 Festival Saturday
A new look to Brazil Main Street’s 6th annual Route 40 Festival took place Saturday, September 17, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
From State Road 59 west to Depot Steet, there were more than 130 vendors, including crafts, non-profits, direct sales, live music, and food of all kinds in a new food court feature located by City Hall.
The Wabash Valley Rodders Car Club hosted the event’s Cruise-In, which was a terrific opportunity to park your vintage car along historic Route 40 or to come to take pictures!
A revamped “Fun Zone” included an Axe Throwing Trailer, Dunk Tank, Spyder Jump, Train, and Inflatables available for family fun.
Fans of the Marvel Universe had the opportunity to meet and take pictures with Dr. Strange.
Free books were available at the Clay County Historical Society Museum and an art show downstairs.
The Clay County Humane Society also hosted a dog adoption area throughout the day.
