Susan M. Lesko, 59, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away on December 19, 2022, while at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

She was born on February 19, 1963, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Eileen M. Dunn and Joseph A. Lesko Sr.

Susan graduated with a master’s degree in Technology from ISU, a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University, an AS degree from IVY Tech in architectural design and drafting, and a BA degree in Psychology from Indiana University. She was employed by Newport Ammunition Depot and Ivy Tech State College.

Susan enjoyed reading, doing Sudoku, crocheting, listening to music and spending time with her family – especially her nieces and nephew and her beloved dog Bones.

She is survived by her mother Eileen M. Dunn and father Joseph A. Lesko Sr.; brothers Joseph A. Lesko Jr. (Michelle) and Stephen D. Lesko (Cathy), aunts Rebecca J. Flaim and Judith A. Miller (Larry), nieces: Ellen M. Lesko, Alexandria P. Lesko, nephew Wesley R. Lesko, and cousins Roxanne (Flaim) Buncick (Michael), Theresa (Flaim) Drunning (Michael), Juliet

(Flaim) Stone (Jeremy), Kathleen Miller, and Elizabeth (Miller) Tetkoski (William)

She was preceded in death by her long-time partner Dennis Snoddy; grandparents: Stanley and Helen Dunn and Joseph and Velma Lesko; uncles Stanley W. Dunn Jr. and Bruno Flaim, and cousin Sgt. Rudolph Flaim.

A celebration of life will be held at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834 on January 21, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Online condolences may be made at frenchfuneralhome.com.
