Tony Tod Lalen Jr. 41, passed away January 15, 2023 at his residence. Tony was born to Tony and Jeanie (Hoke) Lalen on November 4, 1981 in Brazil.

Tony enjoyed fishing, ginseng and mushroom hunting, collecting comic books, and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed spending time with his children. Tony was a jack of all trades, he often worked on roofs, installed fences and gutters, and worked at various factory jobs. Tony was a charmer, had a quick wit, was a big conspiracy theorist, and was able to always put a smile on everyone’s face. Most importantly, Tony was a fighter. He battled cancer for four days shy of eight years.

Tony is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jean and Elmo Hoke, an uncle, Jeff Hoke, and two cousins, Jesse Ray and Jacob Hoke.

Tony is survived by his two children, Jace Lalen (Tearra Moorhead), Nevaeh Lalen, his parents, one sister, Jayme Walden (Charley), special friend and mother to his daughter, Iris Wright, special cousin, JC Lalen, as well as many other aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
