TOP STORY OF THE DAY: OLD MAN WINTER sends another frigid blast to Clay County

Clay County residents awoke to frigid temperatures and falling snow, creating a slushy road mess. Weather forecasters predict this cold wave will hang around for another week with temperatures possibly as high as 40 degrees and rain over the weekend, falling again next week to the mid-20s and more snow.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE in Indianapolis has issued a WINTER STORM WARNING in effect until 7 PM tonight (January 25, 2023).

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 9 inches.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM this evening.
