Gary Wayne Branson, 50, passed away at Union Hospital, on February 25, 2023 following a brief illness.

Gary was born on June 22, 1972, in Brazil, Indiana, the son of Floyd and Marvena (Lash) Branson. He graduated from Southmont High School with the class of 1990. Following high school he attended college to gain EMT certification and a degree in Computer Diagnostics.

Gary worked for Great Dane for 15 years. He also served as an EMT for Clay County Search and Rescue and PPC Ambulance and United Life Care out of Rockville.

When he wasn’t working, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and working on computers and electronics.

He was preceded in death by his mother Marvena Branson.

Survivors include his father Floyd Branson (Pat); wife Nicole Branson whom he married on September 4, 1999; children: Kirsten Clark (Cody), Matthew Branson, and Dalton Branson; granddaughter Emerie Clark; sister: Tina Davis (Robert); step-siblings: Beth Myers and Lucas Myers (Melissa); as well as several extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834 on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Services will follow at the funeral home at 3:00 PM with Pastor Kevin Kimberling. Burial will be held at Bee Ridge Cemetery at a later date.
