TRAVEL ADVISORY: Gas Leak at Walnut Street north of US 40, Brazil

A section of Walnut Street between Logan and Blaine streets is blocked, and traffic is being diverted from the area late Wednesday due to an accidental rupture.

Officials at the scene say a company working on the Joink project, Axis, was working in the area at the time of the rupture around 3:30 p.m.

Brazil Fire Department personnel are in the area.

Motorists traveling in the area should expect to be diverted.
