First Baptist Church

Mark your calendars now for Vacation Bible School July 10 -14 from 6 to 8 p.m. See Mary Ellen Collins to volunteer to help in this ministry.

School clothes are available for newborns to high school seniors from the Children’s Clothes Closet. Please call the church office to arrange a pickup time if you are in need of clothes. Leave a message with your phone number and a volunteer will call back. Donations are not being accepted at this time.

 You are invited to join us at the following weekly services: Sunday School classes for all ages begin at 9:30 a.m. Worship service follows at 10:30 a.m. On Wednesday evenings choir practice is held at 5 p.m. in the sanctuary; dinner is served at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall; And at 7 p.m. separate Bible studies are held for Youth, and Adults. On Thursday a Men’s Prayer Breakfast is held at Sunrise & Dine at 9 a.m. On Friday a Women’s Bible Study is held at the church at 9 a.m.

Peniel United

Methodist Church

Almighty God, when we are lost, show us how to offer one another hope; when we are alone, move us to come alongside one another.  In the name of Christ Jesus, we pray.

Come, you are invited to Peniel United Methodist Church this  Fourth Sunday of Easter, April 30th.  We are pleased to announce that this week Peniel UMC is hosting the Combined Circuit Service which includes Brazil First UMC, Epworth UMC, Prairie City UMC and Staunton UMC.  You need not be a member of any of the aforementioned churches though, everyone is welcome!

The morning will begin with a time for Fellowship and refreshment at 9:30 a.m.  Our Worship Service is at 10:30 a.m. and will be accompanied by a combined choir.  The scripture readings include John 10:1-10 and Acts 2:42-47. Epworth United

Methodist Church

Epworth UMC will be participating in the Combined Circuit Worship Service at Peniel UMC this Fourth Sunday of Easter, April 30th.  (Please note: There will be NO Worship Service at Epworth this week.)  The address for Peniel UMC is 9525 N. Kennedy Crossing Road, Brazil, IN 47834.  Fellowship and refreshment will be at 9:30 a.m. in the Peniel Fellowship Hall.  The Circuit Worship Service will be at 10:30 a.m.

A.A. Meetings are held at Epworth every Monday from 7-8:00 p.m., Tuesday ~ (Women’s Meeting, but everyone is welcome to attend) from 6:30-7:30 p.m., and Saturday mornings from 10 – 11:00 a.m.
