IHSAA sets baseball, softball sectional brackets

On Sunday night, the IHSAA announced the high school baseball and softball sectional pairings.

Listed below are the opening round matchups for Clay City and Northview:

Class A White River Valley Baseball Sectional

Clay City opens the sectional against White River Valley, a team the Eels played on April 13 when they downed the Wolverines by a score of 10-3.

Class 3A Owen Valley Baseball Sectional

Northview opens the sectional against Edgewood, a team the Knights will see for the first time on Wednesday when they play host to the Mustangs.

Class A Clay City Softball Sectional

Clay City opens the sectional against Dugger Union, a team the Lady Eels played on April 20 when they downed the Bulldogs by a score of 8-2.

Class 3A Northview Softball Sectional

Northview opens the sectional against Edgewood, a team the Knights will see for the first time on Wednesday when they play host to the Mustangs.
