Officials are looking for two runaways

Tuesday, July 18, 2023

Two Brazil families are anxiously waiting for information about two reported runaways.

Haileigh Royse and Landon Skinner, both 16, have been missing since Monday evening.

Royse was last seen at 9 p.m. while getting ready for bed at home. Her parents discovered a bedroom window screen removed and the window open the next morning.

Skinner was supposed to be staying with a friend on Monday but left sometime in the middle of the night. Supposedly someone said Skinner talked about going to Indianapolis.

The teenage couple and Skinner’s dark blue GMC Sierra (plate# TK48 0MA) are missing.

The Brazil Police Department has entered the teenagers into the Indiana Data and Communications System (IDACS) and the National Crime Information Center (NCIC - IDACS/NCIC) as runaways, and a report has been forwarded to Clay County Juvenile Probation for formal review.

Royse is 5’2 inches tall, weighing 140-150 lbs., with green eyes and reddish brown hair.

Skinner is 5’9, weighing 210-250 lbs., with brown hair and eyes. He was last seen wearing a black Adidas hoodie, shorts, and slip-on sandals.

Both families have called friends and family trying to find the teenagers and have been unable to locate them. They have used social media to get the word out about the missing teens.

If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Haileigh Royse and Landon Skinner, please call the Brazil Police Department at 812-446-2211.
