Benwood Mt. Lebanon Church

James 1:19-27 says to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. We need to just be quiet and listen to God’s word and to others when in times of trouble that just need someone to listen. Not to judge and to always tell them what they should or shouldn’t do. Just listen. God’s word goes farther in saying, do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. It’s a command, not a suggestion.

Sermon words end on Sundays but actions on those words start as soon as we walk out the church door. Look in the mirror not just at the surface but intently into the very nature of who you are. Keep exercising your faith on God’s word until you see the true you who should be a reflection of Christ. Will you join us…Ice Cream Social on Sunday august 27th at 3pm!!!! All are welcome!
