JENNY AMEY, Brazil, IN

Jenny Lou Amey, 75, passed away November 5, 2023 after a series of health issues. Jenny was born to the late Rex and Lillian (Scott) Reed on May 15, 1948.

Jenny worked as a registered nurse at many different places over the years. She ended her career as a nurse and became a foster parent for 70 children, adopting two special-needs children who owe their life to her. Jenny was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies in her free time. She loved to spend time with her family.

Jenny is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Rachel Drake; and siblings, Scott Reed, Judy Hunt, Danny Reed, and Charles Reed.

Survivors include her children, Cathy Froderman (J.D.), John J. Wilson (Leann), John E. Wilson (Lori), Darcy Amey and Jordan Amey; her former husband, Andy Amey; grandchildren, Danielle, Joey, Nick, Brice, Brad, Crimson, Derrick, Aziya, Michael, Jonathon, Sam, Garrett, Owen and Andrew; and several great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren.

At Jenny’s request, there are no services. A celebration of life with the family will take place at a later date. French Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements
