Edward Eugene Wetnight Brazil, IN

Edward Eugene Wetnight, 76, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away on December 1, 2023 following an extended illness.

Eddie was born on February 2, 1947, in Brazil, Indiana the son of William Thomas and Opal (Bryan) Wetnight. He graduated from Brazil High School and worked at Pike Lumber Company for many years as a custodian. He enjoyed mowing his lawn, his multiple pet cats, and especially making people laugh.

Eddie is survived by his nieces and nephews; his ex-wife Rosetta Frank; her children: Jimmy Norris and Mark Norris (fiancé Shaunna Long); granddaughters Kristan Norris, Caitlynn Long, and Nova Long; close friend Eugene Krantz as well as many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: William and Opal Wetnight and two sisters Norma Batchelor and Barbara Wetnight Frease.

Visitation will be at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana 47834, on Thursday, December 7, 2023, from 11:00 until 1:00 PM. Services will be at the funeral home, on Thursday at 1:00 PM with Mary Jo Archer officiating. Burial will follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery.
