Former Superintendent “throws hat in political ring”

Dear Editor:

I am announcing my candidacy for Clay County Council on the republican ticket in the upcoming election.

I am confident that my 40-years of public service as a teacher, building principal, and superintendent will help prepare for this elected position.

I, too, have previous experience as a small business owner. I am a life-long resident of Clay County and was very proud to raise my family in our community. My wife Carol and I have three daughters and five granddaughters.
