Saylor Clark is a senior at Northview. She has played varsity volleyball for the past four years.

Clark is very proud of the accomplishments she has achieved in her sports and academic careers.

“I made All-Conference my sophomore year, and I have been a varsity athlete all four years of my high school career. I was a captain my senior year in volleyball, and I was also nominated for Pepsi Athlete of the Week.

Saylor states that her favorite part of high school has been being able to grow with her friends and achieve her goals in sports and academics. She also describes her love for being in the student section during sports games and enjoying the competitive atmosphere.

In the future, Saylor plans to attend Ivy Tech or Indiana State University to obtain her degree in business.

“I want to get my business degree because I was inspired by my mother starting her own business and being successful with it.”

Saylor is doing an internship at her mother’s salon, Sorella Dolce Salon Spa in Brazil.

“I wanted to do [the internship with my mother] so I could understand what it takes to run a business and get to work in a more public environment.”

Clark names her mother and father as her largest role models.

“My mom has always been there for me and always wanted me to succeed. She has always pushed me to be a better person, to always do good, and she has shown me that if you give it your all you can achieve it. My dad has always supported me monetarily, emotionally, and pushed me to achieve anything I can.”

Saylor says that her goals for the future are to be successful, happy, and healthy. In the future, she wants to travel the world as well as swim with sharks.
