Connie Jo Albright, 76, of Brazil, Indiana, passed away while at The Waters of Greencastle on January 2, 2023.

Connie was born on March 23, 1947, in Clay County, Indiana the daughter of Edmond and Lucy (Phillips) France. She graduated from Van Buren High School with the class of 1965. Following high school she attended Harrold Beauty Academy. She married Thomas James Albright on July 29, 1966.

Over the years, Connie has worked at Pell’s Saddle Shop, Mallory’s, Windbreaker, Danners, CBS, and for Dr.’s Anderson and Denney. When she wasn’t working, she enjoyed flower gardening, taking vacations, and spending time with family and friends.

Connie was preceded in death by her parents: Edmond and Lucy France and sister Betsy Mercer.

She is survived by her husband Tom Albright; daughter Lisa Jane Herron and husband Milton; sons: Ryan James Albright and Shawn Jason Albright; grandchildren: Carson, Christian, and Caitlyn; and a brother Terry E. France and wife Becky as well as several extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be held at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave. Brazil, Indiana, on Saturday, January 6, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. Services will be held at the funeral home, on Saturday, at 1:00 with burial to follow at Summit Lawn Cemetery. A celebration of life will follow at the VFW 303 South Depot St. Brazil, Indiana from 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM.
