JAMES FRANKLIN WALLACE, Terre Haute, IN

James Franklin Wallace, aged 56, unexpectedly passed away on December 29, 2023, in Terre Haute, Indiana. He was born on October 20, 1967, in Greencastle, and led a life of simplicity, always wearing a warm smile and sharing laughter with those around him.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving children: Michael Wallace (Nichole) of Brazil, IN., Mike Henderson (Brittani) of Rosedale, IN., and Caitlyn Carpenter (Dustin) of Worthington, IN. He is also survived by his ex-spouse, Sondra Clark of Brazil, IN., and siblings, Ron Wallace, Charlie Wallace, Penny Hill, and Kathy Rogers. Additionally, James was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren, and he leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Preceded in death by parents LeRoy "Jug" Wallace and Bonnie Helton and siblings, John Wallace, Tim Wallace, and Michael "Moose" Wallace.

James found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed bird watching, fishing, and spending peaceful moments in the woods, connecting with nature and finding tranquility in its embrace.

A heartfelt celebration of James' life will be held at a later date, allowing family and friends to come together and honor his memory. The compassionate Samaritan Funeral Home in Terre Haute, IN, is providing assistance and guidance to the family during this difficult time.

James Franklin Wallace will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and his memory will forever remain in our hearts. May he find eternal peace in the embrace of his loved ones who have gone before him.
