Barbara Lee Randall, 97, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2024.

She was born on April 5, 1926 in Richmond, VA to John Albert Tyler and Moss Munsey Tyler.

Barbara worked in the nursing field for many fields. She also was a long time volunteer with American Heart Association and the Community Theatre of Clay County. Barbara was also a member of the Daughters of the America Revolution (D.A.R.). Additionally, she was co-owner several antique shops in Brazil and Terre Haute, and she was an avid reader.

Barbara is survived by her son Philip E. Randall (Maggie) of Bloomington, IN, grandchildren Katie A. Thadi (Amine) of Huntington Beach, CA and Richard A. Swearingen, Jr. (Deanna) of Brazil, IN, special nieces Kelli Zumwalt and Lisa Bamburg, and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband Rev. Edward Randall, Jr., daughters Susan M. Sneddon and Dr. Julie L. McLaughlin, brothers John Tyler, Jr. and Eugene D. Tyler, and sisters Hope Tyler Jacobs and Joan R. Tyler Zumwalt.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 9:00 am to 10:45 am at the Terre Haute First Baptist Church located at 4701 Poplar St. Terre Haute, IN 47803.

Funeral services will follow visitation starting at 11:00 am at the church. Burial will be at Clearview Cemetery in Brazil following the service.
