Robert D. Nicoson, 75 of Brazil entered the Church Triumphant on March 21, 2024, at 6:33am. He was born in Ft. Bragg, North Carolina on May 23, 1948, the son of Warren “Nic” Nicoson and Betty Campbell Nicoson. He grew up in Centerpoint and graduated from Brazil High School, Class of 1966. He attended Purdue and pursued his education in engineering. His work career was spent primarily with Britt Aero as an aerospace design and engineer. He retired in 2015.

On August 25, 1996, Bob was united in marriage to Marsha Siegelin. Together they have grown in love and their Christian Faith. They have both been active in the El Shaddai Emmaus community and Bob last worked on the Men’s Fall Walk in 2023. He has served as a mentor to many people through the years, as they grew in Faith. For several years, Bob met weekly with the OMG’s, (Old Men’s Group), for coffee and fellowship.

Bob has had an engineering background in other areas of his life, including lawn mowing and wood working. Both required precision and details to make a beautiful project.

Bob has been an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Brazil, serving many years as adult education teacher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Nic and Betty Nicoson; one sister, Karen Ann Nicoson; his son, Robert Jay Nicoson.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Marsha Nicoson; son Jeffrey Nicoson (Wendy Pearce), step-sons, Darren Barnhart (Lisa), Damon Barnhart (Stacy); daughter in law, Kim Nicoson; a sister, Margy Elliott (Bill) of Spring, Texas; step mother, Glenna Nicoson and mother in law, Sandie Siegelin; grandchildren, Braden Nicoson (Lindsey), Jaelyn Nicoson, Haley Nicoson, Megan Nicoson, Devon Barnhart, Dominic Barnhart, Lindsey Masters (Adam), and Makayla Miller (Cord); 4 great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Jaxon, Avery, and Willow; extended family and a host of friends.
