Betty Kendall, 89, of Reelsville, passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2024.

Born December 29, 1934 in Browns Valley, IN the daughter of James N. and Gladys Bernadine (Williamson) Woodall. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School “Class of 1953”.

Betty had worked as a hospital aide at Putnam County Hospital for several years. She had previously worked at CBS, Wendy’s, Kroger, Mallorys and Pells.

Betty was an avid supporter of the Reelsville Fire Department and loved feeding hummingbirds.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest “Ernie” E. Kendall; parents; sisters Hallie Laverne Tincher and Joyce Siegmund; brothers James Arthur Woodall and Nelson Woodall; and a grandson CJ Tincher.

Betty is survived by her children David Kendall, Penni (Mark) Lynch, Michelle Campbell, and Tabatha Kendall; brother Roy Lee (June) Woodall; sister Elsie Cline, grandchildren Nathan Kendall, Wade Scott Kendall, Teslyn Campbell, Allyson Fogerty, Harley Tincher, Jeremy Western and Daniel Western; great-grandchildren Autumn Buttery, Aeydan Orman, Riley Zweck, Lennon Fogerty, and Bea Emilia Gale.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 5, 2024 at the Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home. Interment will follow at the Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 4th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
