Brazil Buzz: A much needed trip
SUBMITTED PHOTO - Mary Lou Sartor and husband Paul Sartor with Daniel O’Donnell.
Several days ago Brazil Buzz was about our latest trip to see our favorite entertainer, Daniel O’Donnell perform in concert. I messed up and lost the article. This week is about the second concert Paul and I attended last week. The following is what Starla May our eldest daughter had to say about it-in her own words-blessings unfold. Read on…
“Our family is going through a lot of hard times ,lately. It is a special time to make sure dad and mom had the opportunity to see their all -time favorite entertainer twice in five days.
Daniel O’ Donnell is an Irish singer and he is A BIG DEAL. He is at the top of the charts in Europe.
My parents watch him every Saturday night on RFD TV. I now watch the show, as we discuss it every week. I was able to talk to Daniel in Wabash, Indiana. I ask if he would wish my parents Happy 65th Anniversary and Happy 83rd Birthday for my mom. Well, Daniel delivered far more than a shout-out.
During the concert, he asked me where I was sitting to locate my parents. He came out in the audience and sang to them and turned around, chatted with them, while I took photos.
Needless to say, mom and dad both got emotional and happy tears were shed.
We will cherish their moments of joy the rest of our lives. I only wish our family could have seen their grandparents faces.
Thanks to my sister, Lori Patrick who could not go to be with us. Her husband Clifford is not well. She is dealing with so much right now .She provided the concert tickets that were great seats
Thank you Daniel O’Donnell for a memory that will last a lifetime
We will be on the front roll on November,29, 2023 a Christmas show, Shipshewana ,Indiana.
Life is short my friends, be grateful for every moment with your loved ones. Be open to even the briefest moment.”
Love to all,
Starla
The above trip gave this old lady a boost!
Now I need my booster shot. At my visit with my doctor this week she advised me I need to go to my pharmacy. Since I am high fall risk she gave me a prescription for tub and shower Grab-bars, which are covered by Medicare. The associate at Walmart told me go to another pharmacy. She remarked, “I wish they would go back the old way. We don’t mess with it.” I named a pharmacy in town here and she said that they are not open today…
Thanks you the readership of Brazil Buzz and The Brazil Times for allowing me to visit with you each week. That gives me even more joy!
