Bids expected for street repairs (Local News ~ 05/16/20)
The City of Brazil is getting $620,568 from the Community Crossings grant program from the Indiana Department of Transportation for city streets repair this summer. The 75-25 grant will require the City to pay 25% match in addition to that amount. As you know, we have been unable to hold our monthly concert programs at the Little Historic Church due to the Coronavirus. We continue to remain closed until it is deemed safe to re-open the doors and gather in fellowship and music. The Little Historic Church relies on the offerings given each month to pay for all of the church’s utility, insurance and repair bills. There are no paid positions, all is managed by volunteers...
