Jodi Lohrman honored as 'Distinguished Hoosier' by Governor

A month ago, State Rep. Alan Morrison said he would have a surprise when he spoke at the March meeting of the Clay County Republican Club. He wouldn’t say what it was which led to speculation. Finally, the club met Monday night at Kennedy Crossing Bingo Parlor. After the club business was concluded, Morrison was introduced and gave a brief report on how to finance road construction and repairs. Then he asked former Clay County Republican Chair Jodi Lohrman to join him at the front of the room.

It was beautiful weather this last day of winter. I wish my feet felt better. I am still wearing a boot. I have another appointment and more X-rays April 20. This slow-healer wishes that I had not embarked on this painful journey. I doubt if I will ever go barefoot in front of company again. They had better not ask to see them either...
