Closed in 2008, the Adamson’s West End Coin Laundry, located at the corner of Chicago and US 40, is currently being torn down. The work started Thursday and is being done by Wallace Brothers Disposal and Recycling in Brazil. Adamson’s Dry Cleaning business, which was located next door at 608 W. National Ave., was closed in 2007 and demolished in September 2008. The building was cleared away by Saturday evening. The property is currently up for sale...
