Letter to the Editor

Giving thanks for the help

To the Editor:

On Oct. 31, 2007, (The Brazil Times) did a story about little Abby Hilbert and her fight with Dravet's Syndrome.

I would like to thank you all for this story. It not only educated the public about Abby and Dravet's Syndrome, but it also advised them of our fundraising efforts to assist her in getting a canine assistance dog.

It is so amazing to know that there are so many people in our community that have such generous hearts when there is someone in need of help.

I would also like to thank everyone who attended our "Benefit for Abby's Journey" on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, as well as all those who volunteered their time.

Special thanks to the Greencastle Moose Lodge for the use of their facility, and the additional support given by all their members who attended and last, there are so many thanks to be given to the following businesses for their donations that made our auction for Abby a huge success
