To the Editor:
At North Clay Middle School, in the Family and Consumer Science department, we take our eighth-grade students on a CITY (Clay Industry and Technology for Youth) tour.
In planning this tour each y ear, we travel out into our community three different times during the school year to accommodate all eighth-grade students.
The field trip is part of our career education unit. It is designed to help students make realistic and logical choices when preparing for the future. The businesses are always so supportive and willing to let us visit so they can share with the students the opportunities and requirements of working in their particular industry, not to mention sharing those necessary work skills needed for all employment.
These businesses have been letting us do this for years and we want them and you to know how fortunate we are in our community to have such support for student education and real life experience.
To all those listed, thank you so much:

* PDF, Inc.,
