To the Editor:
It warms my heart that there are still people out there who really care.
I heard a story on the news the other day that indicated that someone stole a woman's handicap metal ramp in the daytime right off her front steps in Terre Haute.
This put the woman in an awkward position because it left her helpless to get out of her house.
A construction company in the Terre Haute area bought the materials and built her a ramp for no cost and would not take any money for it.
What a wonderful deed.
This story puts a little confidence back in me that there are people out there who are not out for just themselves, but are there to help out when needed.
Shame on those who stole from this woman.
