To the Editor:

I, Clyde Grigsby Jr., would like to thank you for offering the Inside-Outside Dad's Program here at the Clay County Justice Center

Also, a big thank you for having Ms. Jeannie Jacob teaching this program. She has done an excellent job teaching this class to us. Ms. Jacob taught and reminded the class about something very meaningful and close to everyone's heart: Our kids and family.

She also taught us how and ways to be a better dad.

The Inside-Outside Dad's Class has helped me to stop and to look at myself, to know what is important to me, which I should have already known: My kids and family are.

To think about what I haven't been doing (that I used to do) and what I need to be doing, and what I'm going to do for and with my kids and family.

To communicate, to listen to them, and to be a part of my kids and family's lives. To make a positive difference in their lives and my own life.

It's the little things done in the right direction that can make a difference in people's lives.

We never know what these little things can and will be until we try to make a difference in people's lives.

My feelings about the Inside-Outside Dad's Class? It's in the right direction and it can make a big difference in a lot of families' lives, including my family.

Thank you again, one and all, for caring enough to take the time to teach and show us the right direction to take.

And making that big difference in so many families' lives.

It can make a difference.

Thank you.

Clyde Grigsby Jr.,

Inmate,

Clay County Justice Center
