Habitat for Humanity grateful

To the Editor:

Habitat for Humanity of Clay County has been blessed with more wonderful donations.

All proceeds from the Kroger Cruise-In, organized by Jonathan Herbert on July 20, will benefit our organization.

Area merchants were generous with their donations for door prizes.

Our community gave its support by displaying the classic cars, making donations and purchasing from the food cart.

Pepsi donated the drinks.

We appreciate all who participated in the event and The Brazil Times, Clay City News and The Tribune-Star for the excellent publicity.

In addition, we're truly thankful for a generous check from the Elks.

Riddell National Bank also gave us a donation which is sincerely appreciated.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our area churches who give financial support for our mission of providing basic affordable housing.

The continuing support of our community makes it possible for Habitat to build homes, build hope and change lives one family at a time.
